Music. Response. Music triggers some kind of response

I'm currently putting together 50 minutes of music for my marathon sunday morning...I want it to be happy energetic mixes of goodness. There'll definitely be some Chemical Brothers, Orb and Lemon Jelly involved, but I thought I'd ask the world wide webatron - anyone have a song that makes them move? Songs that make you move, dance or jump around?
Cuz I could add it to my list...cuz (hee hee) I'm running 5K on sunday. And it could kind of be like you were running wth me...or maybe at least in my ears...or sort of through the chambers of my brain... yeah yeah...it'll be a telekinetic experiment.

And we could have cake after...Anyone?

A bit traditional, but I always loved block rockin' beats for that....I know, you've already mentioned the Chemical Brothers.

When I used to run, I'd listed to side two of Gretchen Goes to Nebraska. That really worked for me, save for the line: "This is not the end of the road. It goes on for maybe miles and miles." on _Don't Believe it_. But I suspect that's not what you're looking for.

My 'listening' is quite dated, but one that should work quite well would be 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor.

More suggestions:

'Don't Stop Believing' by Journey - it's a bit of a ballad but makes me want to move around anyway! It might seem relaxing compared to all the other energetic songs you've been listening to.

'Brass in Pocket' by the Pretenders.

'Lord of the Dance'

'Karma Chameleon' by Culture Club

'Eye of the Tiger' by Survivor

'I'm Gonna Be' by the Proclaimers

My sister suggests 'I Could Have Danced All Night' from My Fair Lady. :-).

And (from me)...

'12 Bar' by UB40

'Snoopy vs the Red Baron' by Hot Shots (the version I listen to is, anyway)

'Signing Off' by UB40 - might be a bit too jiggy actually, and spoil your beat!

I was inspired to play a few of my CDs, looking for my favourite tracks. It's just as well I don't have a web cam.

"After the turn of the century, in the clear blue skies over Germany, came a roar and a thunder men had never heard, like the screaming sound of a big warbird..."
